Hey, it's Courtney. I'm a coffee-guzzling college student who is striving to learn about other cultures and earn a a doctorate in cultural and archaeological anthropology
Currently, I'm taking a semester off from college to stabilize my health. I have been epileptic my entire life, and after years of doctor hoping, tests, and intense strain, I was diagnosed with a type of epilepsy that only myself and a seven-year-old girl have.
After being ten months seizure free after brain surgery, my seizures came back, and it was time to rest at home.
When I am at school, I study cultural and archaeological anthropology. One of my passions is my volunteer work at the University of Tennessee's Forensic Anthropology Center.
Thomas Harris and his works have been apart of my life for nine years now, and it has truly shaped me into the person I am today. I would not have such an interest in the human mind, nor would I be processing homicide victims during my academic career. It's quite obvious as to why it's my favorite franchise.
Please feel free to talk to me about the books, movies, and NBC's Hannibal. I enjoy both casual and informative discussions.
For now, I will leave you with this;
Have the lambs stopped screaming?
Hannibal, Doctor Who, & Sherlock
These three have helped me so much. I’ve never laughed so hard at any podcasts.
